Adult Rowing - Team Building

The Oak Ridge Rowing Association is happy to announce the 2009 Team Building and Corporate Rowing Experience.  ORRA is offering companies from Oak Ridge, Knoxville, East Tennessee and beyond the opportunity to come together in and learn about rowing but more importantly learn about itself and its employees.  Rowing has often been called the “Ultimate Team Sport” and there is no better analogy to business than rowing.  No timeouts, no bench, all team members actions linked to each other and the fact that the team is only as good as its weakest link.  Team work, cooperation, listening and patience are all stressed in the Oak Ridge Team Building programs.

Programs- Designed to offer any length class from 2 hour intro sessions where team members will receive a short PowerPoint presentation on the sport and business followed by a tour of the Oak Ridge Marina where every person gets in the boats and takes their first strokes.

For those companies wanting a more total immersion experience, programs can be designed for 1-3 days with rowing and other activity time designed for your best learning opportunity.

Equipment-ORRA will supply all equipment, including team t-shirts. All-Inclusive programs with meals and lodging can be developed based on your needs. 

Coaching- Depending on your needs and level of course, Olympic level coaches and facilitators will be included in your program.
